Femmexy is of the internet, a cyber alchemist of here and now.

A multidisciplinary artist, DJ and musician. They work with video, installation, print, digital design, sound, drawing, painting and text. Using stock imagery, everyday consumer objects, references to Western spiritual practices, scientific symbolism, and textural maximalism, they explore the metaphysics of Metamodern human reality. A key aspect of their process is combining multiple works – singulars –  into sprawling, modular installations they call "Amalgams". These collected pieces create intricate, interconnected metaverses of disjointed information that, for them, mirror the fractured yet cohesive nature of contemporary existence.

Their work draws on a broad body of postmodern thought exploring perception of reality in the late-capitalist society and aligns with the renewed interest in alchemy, magic, and esoterism, prevalent in Western contemporary art and theoretical writing. In their practice, they shift between instinctive activity and logical reasoning, layer contextual information, and employ self-cancelling enchantment and disenchantment tactics to collapse the individual meaning of their works. This aspect is an attempt at creating a new framework for understanding, one fit for the post-truth, post-irony, post-simulacra, post-post-post-world. A framework understood through interconnectedness, affective fluidity and quantum thinking.
